We are looking for experienced security professionals to work at various bars and lounges across downtown Toronto, ensuring a secure and welcoming experience for all guests. Competitive pay is offered based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time - we are performance based with potential for more hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing venue policies and ensuring compliance with security protocols
- Control access points, verifying IDs, and preventing unauthorized entry
- Conduct bag checks and pat-downs to prevent weapons, alcohol, and drugs from entering the venue
- Monitor crowd behavior and proactively address potential conflicts before they escalate
- De-escalate situations professionally using conflict resolution techniques to manage difficult patrons
- Work closely with bar staff and management to handle security concerns efficiently
- Respond to emergencies such as fights, medical incidents, or disturbances
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring patrons feel safe while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Write and submit reports at the end of each shift, documenting any incidents or notable observations
- Stay updated on current security protocols and best practices to continuously improve performance

What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required)
- Smart Serve Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of security experience, preferably in a bar, club, or lounge setting
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations, including conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Strong physical presence and the ability to manage difficult situations with confidence
- First Aid & CPR Certification (Required)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
